We are a family owned and operated business that values every customer.
McGarr Excavation, Inc. officially started digging in 1996 with many years in the business already. Ron McGarr had an opportunity to start in his youth as an equipment operator and developed a passion for it. After working many years in the logging industry, and house construction, he was able to return to Excavation and his passion for construction. Now, McGarr Excavation is a family owned and operated business that values every customer. McGarr Excavation values each of our customers and truly strives to care for each of their needs. We operate on a loyal return customer basis and take value in each relationship we have and are currently making. We currently operate in Plumas, Sierra, Placer and Nevada counties, and serve our neighbors at Grizzly Ranch, Nakoma, Plumas Pines, Graeagle, Johnsville, Clio, Portola, Beckwourth, Calpine, Sierraville, Loyalton, Lake Tahoe and Truckee area.

We are certified installers from ORENCO; a leader in septic products, Certified for HDPE Pipe Fusion, Confined Space Certified, Compliant with California Air Resources, and Certified with Department of General Services as a California Small Business. We are committed to staying up to date with industry standards and compliance.
